The members of Chapel Club think of music as something to be experienced, rather than simply heard. Formed in the dying days of 2007 by guitarist Michael Hibbert and bassist Liam Arklie, the rest of the band came together through mutual friends and a shared desire to do something different: something that had nothing to do with gimmicks, scenes or slogans and everything to do with melody, integrity and emotional impact.

After a period spent writing and rehearsing, the band started playing live in the autumn of 2009 – and their shows have already won them a devoted following, eager to experience the intensity and intelligence of tracks like debut single ‘Surfacing’ and live favourite ‘O Maybe I’ for themselves.
