Continuing the 5th birthday celebrations, Superstition are proud to welcome back revered Italian trio, Agents Of Time, to Village Underground for an extended 3 hour live set. The project from Andrea Di Ceglie, Fedele Ladisa and Luigi Tutolo, combine their talents and shared influences to create a hardware heavy and improvisation live set which spans house, techno and acid. Agents Of Time perform around a square table, facing each other, translating a symbiotic energy through the machines and communicating through instinct and gesture. This complex, unique and unpredictable dance between human minds and analog equipment creates moments of magic that we can’t wait to witness in our home in Shoreditch.
Joining Agents Of Time, are Kiev-based duo and Afterlife associated Woo York, who have proven themselves to be integral members of the international techno community with their energetic, melodic and experimental techno. Woo York deliver a powerful, driving, dark-yet-sophisticated sound that is truly singular within today’s techno scene and provides for a euphoric atmosphere. We’re excited to welcome them to Village Underground for a live set, and their Superstition debut.
Joining the line up we have yet another Superstition debut of Village Underground regular Yacine Dessouki, Sapiens and Anomalia founder who is a familiar name in the London scene. Fired by passion and strength, his sound floats around house and techno and has the power to be both highly melancholic yet energetic simultaneously. We’re excited to see what he brings to our warehouse.
Completing this prodigious line up and opening the show is Italian-born, London-based DJ and Producer Dario Dea. Dario plays a wide range of styles from afro-house infused rhythms to heavy hitting italo disco bass lines, but with house and techno being his primary genre.
